Heart Health - Week 3

Our Heart Health Classes are tailored to post Weight Loss Surgery patients.

Equipment: Chair/band and bodyweight

  • Be educated on the importance of Cardiorespiratory Fitness and Cardiovascular health
  • Strategies to do cumulative and incidental exercises
  • Activities that are fun and have Cardiovascular benefits (e.g. dancing, walking, cycling)
  • Be educated on the Rate of Perceived Exertion scale
  • Ensure you are working at the right intensity for the current fitness level
